Sugaring Basics
-
How often should I get sugared?
Intimate areas/face: Every 4-5 weeks
Legs/arms: Every 4-6 weeks
Underarms: Every 2-3 weeks
Regular sugaring targets growth at the anagen phase* for longer-lasting results, with finer hair and fewer sessions over time.
*The anagen phase is the active growth stage — and the best time to sugar. Removing hair at this stage helps weaken the follicle over time, supporting finer regrowth and longer-lasting results.
-
Yes, compared to waxing. By removing hair in its natural growth direction, it pulls from the root, leading to slower regrowth and smoother skin. Waxing pulls against the grain, so sometimes hair breaks off instead of being fully removed.
-
Nope. Over time, hair usually grows back softer, finer, and more sparse because of the repeated removal weakens the follicle.

Sugaring is kind to all skin types. Our sugar paste takes off dead skin cells and hair while keeping your live skin safe. Just let us know if your skin’s sensitive, and we’ll make sure your treatment is tailored to you.

Most clients find sugaring reduces ingrown hairs compared to waxing and shaving. It pulls hair in the direction of growth, minimising breakage and smoothing your skin.

Topical treatments like Retin-A or Differin can make your skin more sensitive. We recommend waiting at least 3 months after discontinuing these products before sugaring to avoid irritation.
